KLT Kitchens and Building Supplies — Refund Policy
Effective: 07/25/2025
1. Overview
- We do not accept returns for custom kitchens, custom cabinets, or any special-order/made-to-order items. These items are non-returnable and non-refundable except where required by law.
2. Damaged on Delivery — Inspection Required
- Refunds or replacements will be considered only for products that arrive damaged and are inspected and documented with our delivery driver at the time of delivery.
- You must notify the delivery driver and refuse or note the damage on the delivery paperwork. The driver will document the damage and notify KLT Kitchens and Building Supplies.
3. Acceptance at Delivery — No Returns
- If you sign the delivery receipt or otherwise accept the shipment without documenting damage, the product is deemed accepted and we cannot accept returns or issue refunds thereafter.
4. How to Report Damage
- At delivery: Notify and document damage with the delivery driver and do not accept the item if you intend to seek a refund or replacement.
- After delivery: If damage was concealed and not apparent at delivery, contact us immediately and no later than 48 hours after delivery. Provide photos, order number, and any delivery paperwork.
5. Refund and Replacement Process
- Once damage is documented with our driver (or valid concealed-damage claim is accepted), we will, at our option, repair, replace, or refund the damaged item.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time after inspection and approval.
- Shipping, delivery, and installation fees are refundable only to the extent they are refundable from our carriers or vendors and as required by law.
6. Returns Shipping and Restocking
- If return shipping is required and approved, we will advise whether we or the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Custom and non-returnable items remain non-returnable even if damaged (unless otherwise required by law).
